Montpellier defender Mamadou Sakho to miss PSG homecoming due to injury

Montpellier have this afternoon announced their squad for their trip to Paris this weekend to face the league leaders, with the list excluding former PSG man Mamadou Sakho.

As a result, the former PSG man will miss out on a homecoming game at the ground which saw him rise through the ranks and play six seasons as a professional before leaving for England.

MHSC manager Olivier Dall’Oglio, in his press conference transcribed by RMC Sport, has indicated that the centre-back would travel with the team and be present in the stands, as he recovers from a minor hamstring tear. The former Liverpool man had already been absent for the draws against Troyes and Bordeaux.
