Tiémoué Bakayoko will be in Milano this weekend, while Tommaso Pobega heads to Torino on loan.

The transfer window ends next week and Milan still have some deals to make. Today, they finally got a done deal with Chelsea for the return of Bakayoko.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky, Milannews.it, and other outlets – today the Rossoneri found a total agreement with Chelsea for a deal that will see Bakayoko wearing Red and Black again.

The Frenchman will be in Milano between Friday night and Saturday morning to have his medical with the Diavolo and then sign the contract. Bakayoko comes on a two-year loan deal with option to buy for €15m; the option would become obligatory if certain conditions are met. Tiémoué will first extend his contract with Chelsea until 2024, as his current deal with them expires in 2022.

The first time Bakayoko joined Milan was August 14, 2018. He moved from Chelsea on the exact same formula and despite playing 42 games and scoring one goal, Milan chose to send him back to the Blues. Chelsea still deem him surplus to requirements and are now sending him on loan for the 4th year in a row. Baka was at Monaco in 2019-20 and then at Napoli with Rino Gattuso last year.

With Bakayoko joining, Tommaso Pobega is leaving: the young Italian is heading to Torino on loan and tomorrow he’ll have his medical with the team of Ivan Jurić.
