ATLANTA – Atlanta United returns to action Wednesday night as it travels to face New York City FC at Red Bull Arena. The match is set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be regionally broadcast on Bally Sports Southeast.

Atlanta owns an all-time record of 4-1-2 against New York City FC in MLS (including playoffs), 3-0-1 at home and 1-2-1 on the road in the series. This is the first of two meetings this season with the second coming at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Oct. 20 (7:30 p.m., Bally Sports South).
Atlanta is coming off a 2-2 draw against Philadelphia Union on June 20, extending its unbeaten streak to five games. Anton Walkes scored his first goal of the season and the third of his Atlanta career.
Brooks Lennon ranks tied for fourth in MLS with 24 chances created this season. Lennon created eight chances against Philadelphia, which tied an Atlanta single-game MLS record, and also took a single-game record of 11 corner kicks in the match. As a team, Atlanta ranks second in MLS in crosses/corner accuracy at 33.1 %.
