Wednesday sees a trip to Barifa grounds for our midweek fixture with Arua Hill SC. The reverse fixture between the two in December last year ended in a comprehensive 4-0 win for BUL football club

BUL FC players in last training ahead of Arua Hills tomorrow.

The Eastern Giants will enter the contest off the back of a 2-0 win over Wakiso Giants last Saturday while Arua Hill suffered a 3-1 away defeat to Vipers SC on the same afternoon.

BUL are feeling desperate to stretch their winning run and will potentially complete a double over their hosts.

To date, there have been eight wins, five draws and four losses for the Eastern Giants, and that is 29 points for Alex Isabirye’s side, just two behind third placed URA.

One point separate the two teams as the Leopards are sat in 6th place on 28 points after eight victories, four draws and five losses from 17 matches.

This clash will be the second meeting between the two teams and a win for BUL FC will see them climb to third position on the table.

Team News

The team will continue to do without Jerome Kirya and Hillary Onek because of injuries. The duo were withdrawn with fractures in our encounter with Vipers a week back.

A twenty – man player squad is already in Arua and everyone is ready to feature on Wednesday.

BUL FC 2-0 Wakiso Giants

The Eastern Giants were 2-0 winners against Wakiso Giants last week on Saturday.

Goals in either half – from Richard Wandyaka and Simon Peter Oketch got BUL FC the three points after going three games without victory.

Wandyaka broke the deadlock with a header off Richard Ayiko’s teasing cross on 18 minutes before substitute Oketch sealed the win for the Eastern Giants with a beauty from range in the 90th minute.

After back to back draws, we bounced back to winning ways with a 4-0 beating of Arua Hill SC at Kyabazinga stadium to end their six-game unbeaten run in the league.

Musa Esenu calmly controlled the ball before beating Rogers Omedwa in the 18th minute to put BUL FC in the lead, and with just two minutes into the second half, he completed his brace before Ibrahim Nsimbe made it three on 54th minutes.

Ibrahim Kazindula whipped in freekick later to complete the rout.

Match Facts

BUL FC has won and drawn three games apiece to collect 12 points from the eight trips this campaign, 15 goals have been scored and 13 conceded across the eight matches.

The Eastern Giants have lost once in their last four away games but last won on the road in early December last year against Tooro United.

Isabirye’s side have been consistent scorers on foreign territories, finding the net in each of their away matches. They have also scored in each of their past six games overall.

Their last two visits to Arua city have seen them come out victors, 1-0 last season and 2-0 at the start of this term although playing against Kongolo’s neighbors – Onduparaka.

Arua Hill SC count 17 points from a possible 24 as a result of their five wins, two draws and one loss at home.

They have scored 13 goals as hosts and conceded only seven, and they have failed to score at Barifa grounds twice this season in a barren draw with Onduparaka and in a 0- 1 defeat to KCCA FC.

The Leopards have also won their last three home matches.

Naigaga Habiba will be the lady in the middle for Wednesday’s game, Okudra Emmanuel and Omunyira Mathias her assistants with Omara Paul the fourth official. Nagadya Catherine will be the referees assessor.
