Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s final game in charge was the humiliating defeat suffered at the hands of relegation-threatened Watford, so Manchester United will be out for revenge when they welcome the Hornets to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Buoyed by their 1-1 draw away to Atletico Madrid, United will have confidence heading into the weekend fixture, with only Manchester City having taken more Premier League points than them since Rangnick took charge of the club’s ailing campaign.

Edinson Cavani remains out through a groin injury, although the Uruguayan is the only expected absentee for the home side on Saturday, with Scott McTominay likely to return from an illness which kept him out of the trip to the Spanish capital.

Watford have a different coach to the first meeting also, with Roy Hodgson now in the dugout at Vicarage Road. He’ll have only Peter Etebo and Kwadwo Baah missing, although the pair have been long-term injuries since September and November respectively.
