MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly ‘lurking’ around Lazio midfielder Sergej MIlinkovic-Savic amid uncertainty surrounding his future.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Rome outfit, with the Red Devils tipped to bring him to Old Trafford.
Milinkovic-Savic has been in fine form this season – chipping in with five goals and as many assists in 23 games in all competitions.
But despite being tied down at the Stadio Olimpico until 2024, it has been suggested that the Serbia international is seeking a new challenge next summer.
According to Il Messaggero, the former Genk star is looking to depart the club at the end of the term.
The Italian news outlet claims that United are monitoring his situation, with Milinkovic-Savic seen as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba.
Pogba has just over six months left on his contract at Old Trafford, and it remains to be seen whether he will extend his stay.
And the Rome-based newspaper has also declared that Real Madrid and Juventus are eyeing up a swoop to sign the 2019 Coppa Italia winner.

Milinkovic-Savic looks set to leave Lazio next June due to an agreement with his agent Mateja Kezman.
Speaking last month, former Chelsea striker Kezman admitted that his client is in need of a ‘new adventure’.
The 42-year-old said: “He is a great club player.
“Soon the time will come for him to live a new adventure and new dreams.”
United are known to be in the market for a new midfielder to provide competition for Pogba, Fred and Scott McTominay.
Since the arrival of interim boss Ralf Rangnick, they have also been strongly linked with Boubacar Kamara and Amadou Haidara.
