L’Équipe report that whilst there is finally formal contact between OGC Nice and Lille over the transfer, for want of a better word, of manager Christophe Galtier, Les Dogues are continuing to demand €10m in order to relinquish the Frenchman.
LOSC President Létang had the following to say on the matter:
“Galtier is a top manager. I want to continue with him. If he decides to leave, which I absolutely do not want, it would be a source of enormous harm. I repeat, my aim is to continue with Christophe who I associate with making player decisions (in the transfer market). For me there is a second major source of harm. Today is 18th June. My club has a season they need to prepare for. I have not spoken with any other manager. I would like for our club to be respected. I would have appreciated to have been contacted earlier.”
