Leeds United have secured a deal to bring Amari Miller to Elland Road this summer.

What’s the talk?

That’s according to a report by Football Insider, who claim that Victor Orta has seen an offer of £200k, potential rising to £1.5m with performance-related add-ons, for the 18-year-old accepted by Birmingham City.

The report continues by stating that Lee Bowyer had hoped to keep hold of the youngster this summer, with the Blues having offered Miller a new deal at the end of last season.

However, Football Insider now report that a deal is all but done for the winger, with his move to Leeds expected to go through on July 1.

Orta will be buzzing

With Orta having landed some of the most exciting youth prospects in the county in recent years, such as the signing of Arsenal centre-forward Sam Greenwood and Wigan Athletic striker Joe Gelhardt, the news that the Whites look on course to land yet another promising player in Miller is sure to have left to director of football buzzing.

While the Birmingham starlet may not have featured a great deal for the first team, having made a total of five appearances for the club, it would very much appear as if Miller is a great prospect for the future, with Bowyer going on record to state his belief that the 18-year-old “has got potential,” as well as claiming the winger adds “goals, assists [and] pace” to the Birmingham side.

As such, with Orta seemingly in the midst of building a highly impressive U23 side at Leeds, with Mark Jackson’s team winning the Premier League 2 Group 2 last season, the man whom Bowyer dubbed a “fearless” player would appear to be yet another fantastic addition made by the director of football, as well being a player who the Spaniard clearly believes possesses the talent to one day make an impact in the Whites’ first team.
