Lazio defender Luiz Felipe and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic are two players on Milan’s shortlist, as the Rossoneri eye potential replacements for the injured Simon Kjaer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that the cost effective option for Milan will be bringing Mattia Caldara back from his loan at Venezia. He’s now fit and doing well at the Venice-based club and the move wouldn’t cost Milan money, while helping them solve a problem area.
If they go into the market though, Milenkovic will be an option. While he signed a new deal with Fiorentina, there is a clause in his deal which will allow clubs to sign him for €15 million. Luis Felipe’s contract runs out in the summer and he could be a viable option, depending on whether Lazio allow an exit in January.
Another option is Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile but the issue there is the valuation. Becir Omeragic of Zurich could also become an option, as he costs €12 million.
