BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) — Teenager Luca Langoni scored twice as Boca Juniors continued their recovery in Argentina’s Primera Division on Sunday with a 2-1 home win over leaders Atletico Tucuman.

The 19-year-old forward put the hosts ahead in the 77th minute by heading home after Sebastian Villa’s cross. He doubled the lead 10 minutes later with a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner following a corner.

It was Boca’s eighth win of the campaign and extended their unbeaten league run to six games. The Buenos Aires giants are now seventh in the 28-team standings with 26 points from 16 matches, six points behind Atletico Tucuman, who maintain a two-point lead over second-placed Gimnasia.

Earlier, Estudiantes rose to 12th place after an early Manuel Castro strike gave them a 1-0 home victory over Patronato.

In other Argentine top-flight games on Sunday, Aldosivi drew 0-0 at Union Santa Fe, Independiente were held to a 1-1 home draw by Velez Sarsfield, Barracas Central won 1-0 at home to Colon and Sarmiento were held to a goalless home draw by Gimnasia.
