LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy today announced that General Manager Dennis te Kloese will depart the club to join Dutch side Feyenoord as its new CEO.

“We would like to thank Dennis for his contributions to the club over the last three seasons,” said LA Galaxy President Chris Klein. “We support his decision to go back home to the Netherlands to join Feyenoord and wish him the best in his next endeavor.”

Te Kloese was announced as the Galaxy’s General Manager in December of 2018. Additionally, the LA Galaxy qualified for the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs, while LA Galaxy II reached the USL Championship Playoffs in 2019 and 2020 during Te Kloese’s tenure.

“I am truly grateful and feel very proud to have served the LA Galaxy for the last three years,” said Te Kloese. “I would like to thank the fans, players, staff and everyone who always made me, and my family, feel at home and part of the Galaxy family. I will take with me some great memories and I have experienced some unforgettable moments over the last years. As I prepare for my new challenge in the Netherlands, I just wanted to say thank you and wish everybody the best of luck and great success moving forward.”

Prior to joining the Galaxy, Te Kloese served as the director of national teams for the Mexican Football Federation, where he oversaw men’s and women’s youth and senior-level programs.
