Kaizer Chiefs starting XI: DStv Premiership vs Swallows

Kaizer Chiefs face the prospect of another Soweto derby this weekend when they make the short trip to face Moroka Swallows on Sunday.

The last time these sides met was back in May when they played to a 1-1 draw after Kagiso Malinga‘s effort was cancelled out by Leonardo Castro.

Here we try to predict the Kaizer Chiefs starting for the DStv Premiership match against Moroka Swallows on 28 November 2021.

Kaizer Chiefs starting XI prediction

Daniel Akpeyi has been in great form in goal, even if the service in front of him hasn’t always been top draw. The Nigerian keeper should continue his run of starts against Swallows.

Happy Mashiane could be backed at left back wth injuries and suspensions ravaging the Kaizer Chiefs backline.

After an injury to Reeve Frosler and Njabulo Blom suspended, Ramahlwe Mphahlele should start at right back.

With so much upheavel in the backline, we expect Stuart Baxter to turn back to Daniel Cardoso and Eric Mathoho as his centre backs.

With Cole Alexander also suspended following his red card against Amazulu, we could see Phathutshedzo Nange partnered with makeshift midfielder Njabulo Ngcobo.

Baxter could throw in a surprise element behind the frontline with Sabelo Radebe ready for a step up.

The front three should be the trusted crew of Keagan Dolly, Khama Billiat and Bernard Parker.
