Juventus are still said to be some way off agreeing terms regarding a contract renewal for Paulo Dybala.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that while there is a third meeting involving La Joya’s agents and the Bianconeri management, there are some differences yet to be ironed out as there is some distance between them.
The meeting with happen over the weekend. Juventus are willing to offer Dybala a basic wage of €8-€8.5 million plus bonuses that can make it a package of €10 million a season. They want the player to be a central part of the project and Massimiliano Allegri has personally talked to the player about it too.
While there is harmony between the parties, Dybala’s agents want an extra year in the deal and while Juve propose a deal till 2025, the player’s entourage wants a deal till 2026. They also want a €2 million increase in the basic wage.
The next meeting could bring about a rough agreement and even though a white smoke may not arrive right away, it could be a positive step.
