Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has suggested that Mohamed Salah will not be happy tonight despite scoring against Brentford, as quoted on BBC Sport.
Salah scored for Liverpool in the 3-3 draw with Brentford away from home in the Premier League tonight.
It was the Egypt international forward’s 100th goal in the Premier League for the Reds.
BBC Sport quotes Klopp as saying about Salah: “I’m sure Mo sees it the same way, he would love to have 101 today.
There were many good moments football-wise against a tricky set-up but we could not defend when the goalie chips the balls forward.”
Salah is a goal machine and is on fire at the moment.
There was no surprise that the 29-year-old scored yet again tonight.
Klopp, though, is right.
Salah will not be happy.
The former Chelsea attacker wants to score goals after goals, and he will know that he had chances to add to his tally tonight.
Salah took three shots and two were on target.
The Liverpool no.11 has scored five goals and provided two assists in six Premier League games so far this season.
The attacker has also scored one goal in one Champions League match for Liverpool this season.
Brentford deservedly picked up a point from the encounter, which was one of the best of the season so far.
Liverpool will be determined to return to winning ways, and Salah will be keen on banging in a goal or two in his next game.
