Is Eden Hazard still good enough for Chelsea? – Talk Chelsea

We will be forever grateful for everything that Eden Hazard did for Chelsea. When he announced that he wanted to leave and fulfil his dream of becoming a Real Madrid player it was simply heart-breaking, but somehow we understood him.

He played 352 games during his spell at Stamford Bridge, scored 110 goals, and made 92 assists.

Eden became the main player of the team, winning the Premier League twice, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League in last game for the Blues.

After his departure Chelsea started a new chapter, a very successful one. At the same time Eden has been struggling at Real Madrid from the very beginning. He has spent most of his time injured and it’s almost impossible to maintain a right rhythm.

Now, at the end of 2021 there is a real possibility that Eden will leave Los Blancos in January or in the summer. Manager Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t count on him and said in a respectful way, that Hazard can leave.

There has been a lot of speculation that this Belgian could return to London. However, the question is is he still good enough for Chelsea?

Eden is a big marketing tool and Chelsea could get him in a reasonable deal. In any case he’s 30 years old now and a comeback to England would represent redemption for him. At the same time it is highly questionable if Chelsea could profit from his potential homecoming.

Hazard knows the club, he played with many current Chelsea players and most of the fans still love him. Still, it’s hard to say if he could play under Thomas Tuchel, but the truth is it isn’t impossible.
