Inter Milan are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach defensive midfielder Denis Zakaria in the summer of 2022, according to Calciomercato. The Switzerland international defensive is out of contract at the German club at the end of the season, and defending Italian champions Inter are keen on securing the services of the 24-year-old on a free transfer then.
Ginter has been on the books of Monchengladbach since 2017 when he joined from Young Boys. The 24-year-old has established himself as a key figure for the German club over the years and is now considered as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Bundesliga.
Monchengladbach are ninth in the Bundesliga table at the moment with 15 points from 11 matches, four points behind fourth-placed VfL Wolfsburg. Inter are currently third in the Serie A table with 25 points from 12 matches, seven points Napoli and AC Milan, who are first and second respectively.
