In celebration of the seventh annual DRVPNK Across America Day, Inter Miami CF executives, staff and players will join forces with AutoNation at DRV PNK Stadium on Tuesday, Oct. 12 to fill 2,500 comfort bags for cancer patients.
Inter Miami CF Managing Owner Jorge Mas, players Leandro González Pirez, Sami Guediri, John McCarthy and Robbie Robinson will join AutoNation EVP and Chief Customer Experience Officer Marc Cannon and associates for this initiative. Once the bags have been filled, 250 bags will be taken to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital to be distributed to cancer patients.
Every October, Associates from more than 300 AutoNation locations coast to coast unite to honor those touched by cancer. This year, Associates from more than 300 locations will write thousands of handwritten messages of hope to those who are battling the disease.
AutoNation, the Club’s official and exclusive automotive partner, is recognized for “turning the auto industry pink” through its singular charitable mission, Drive Pink (DRVPNK). Every October, AutoNation Associates from coast to coast unite to honor those touched by cancer on DRVPNK Across America Day. To date, more than 15,000 comfort bags have been delivered to children and adults undergoing treatment.
Earlier this year, Inter Miami CF partnered with AutoNation to amplify both teams’ commitments to driving out cancer by leveraging the power of fútbol and its strong fan base.
