Liverpool and Tottenham have been told that a Serie A attacking target has the ability to thrive in the Premier League, if he makes the move this summer.
Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic is the player in question, with former Fiorentina director Pantaleo Corvino revealing that he thinks the 21-year-old would be a big hit with the Premier League duo, along with another European big-hitter in Juventus.
The Serbia international is currently contemplating whether to sign a new contract with La Viola. Recent events at the club are hardly likely to convince him, with Gennaro Gattuso resigning 23 days after taking the manager’s job.
The self-professed ‘new Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ scored 21 goals in 37 games for a Fiorentina that finished down in 13th this past season.
The Italian outfit are keen to keep the talented forward, who is rated at £40million. However, the man who brought Vlahovic to Florence four years ago believes the player can secure a move this summer.
“Quality has no age. Now, (Vlahovic) could play as a centre-forward for Juventus, Liverpool or Tottenham,” Corvino said.
“I scared (Fiorentina) when, in 2017, I paid €1.5 million to Partizan (Belgrade).
“I admit, after signing him, I was scared. I’m convinced Vlahovic’s father also noticed that and told me: ‘Director, I’m sure you are bringing the new (Gabriel) Batistuta to Florence.’
“I replied: ‘Well, I was convinced, instead, that I had brought a new Luca Toni!’”

Paratici gives Tottenham advantage
Four years on and Vlahovic is certainly making a big name for himself, with new sporting director Fabio Paratici already looking to bring the player to north London.
The striker has been likened to Tottenham talisman Harry Kane, who could be on the move this summer. Indeed, Manchester City are already said to have made their move for the England skipper.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with the player. But with Paratici on board, Spurs will fancy their chances of winning the race – especially if Kane leaves.
