HEARTS OF OAK RETURN TO LOSING WAYS

Accra Hearts of Oak were expected to get a very good score line at Dormaa Agyemang Badu. They played Aduana FC in the Week 20 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians lost by a goal against Aduana FC on Sunday. The goal was on the 45th minute by Sam Adams.

Hearts who had won their last two matches against Kotoko and WAFA as both matches ended with 2-1 scoreline respectively. They won against Kotoko in the President’s Cup and then subsequently against WAFA in the Ghana Premier League.

Meanwhile Aduana are enjoying good stride of victories as they beat KIng Faisal in Kunmasi by a lone goal.

Hearts approached the Dormaa game with full confidence as they were sure of securing at least a point. Both sides pushed each other to the wall, making the game so tight with limited goal scoring opportunities.

Adam’s goal scored in the second was enough to put the Phobians to sleep. They missed the services of Sully Muntari as a result of injury. Hearts now drop to fifth as Aduana maintains their second position.
