Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has formally requested for his contract with the Porcupine Warriors to be terminated, according to Ghanaian portal Kick Gh.
Annan, 26, has one years left on his current deal with the Ghana Premier League record winners.
The former WAFA shot-stopper has struggled for playing time at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the last two season and believes his future lies away from Kumasi.
Annan has been strongly linked with a move to Medeama while Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities have been speculated as likely destination for the goalkeeper who is capped 1 Ghana cap.
Hearts will represent the West African nation in next season’s CAF Champions League and head coach Samuel Boadu is reportedly interested in having the agile glovesman in his folds due to his enormous experience.
Meanwhile Medeama have parted ways with Frank Boateng earlier this week and with Eric Ofori Antwi also set to leave the club Annan would be a key acquisition for the Mauve and Yellows.
Legon Cities have also emerged as one of the options for Annan for the former WAFA keeper as he has a smooth working relationship with head coach Maxwell Konadu.
