Granada coach Robert Moreno confirmed on Saturday after the match against Valencia that Rubén Rochina has become his side’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
“Rochina is already mine,” Moreno told the media when asked about the former Levante player, who followed the match between Granada and Valencia from the VIP box at the Nuevo Los Cármenes on Saturday.
The Valencian player, who can play both in midfield and in more advanced positions, will experience his second spell at Granada, where he played before being transferred to Russian club Rubin Kazan and before joining Levante, with whom he finished his contract this summer.
“I know him, he did very well when he was at Granada. He has experience and comes to add to the side and contribute. He has made a big effort to be with us. Everyone who has come here had the intention of coming,” Moreno added.
He is Granada’s fifth signing of the summer window after the arrivals of midfielder Ramon Rodriguez ‘Monchu’, Peruvian centre-back Luis Abram, Colombian striker Carlos Bacca and Portuguese goalkeeper Luis Maximiano.
