Glasgow circus school wants to open centre near Rangers’ Ibrox Stadium

AN empty storage warehouse could be turned into an aerial circus skills centre if city planners approve. 

Planning documents have been lodged into Glasgow City Council requesting for the change of use for the vacant unit which is near Rangers’ Ibrox Stadium on Edmiston Drive. 

Glasgow circus school Aerial Edge are behind the plans. They currently have a base in Argyle Street in the city’s West End.

Their website states the school was founded by Mark Gibson and Charmaine Muller in 2007 from their passion for circus and teaching people.

If given the go-ahead the facility would open 7am to 10pm within Edmiston Trade Park. 

A decision is expected to be on the plans by January 21 and the last date for comments is December 23.
