Ghana Black Stars will be missing a player in their first AFCON 2023 qualifying game against Madagascar on Wednesday, at the Cape Coast Stadium (19:00 GMT).
Ghana Football Association announced that Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo is ruled out of the game due to an ankle injury.

“Defender Joseph Aidoo has been ruled out of the Africa Cup of nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 between Ghana and Madagascar after picking up an injury”, GFA wrote.
“The Celta Vigo man has twisted his right ankle injury during training and has been ruled out of the game on Wednesday.”
The 26-year old is expected to undergo medicals in order to fully recorver.
