Forgotten Chelsea man could finally be getting his career re-started – Talk Chelsea

[ad_1]

January is fast approaching now and not only does it give clubs the chance to sign any new players for areas on the pitch they feel they need, it also gives a chance for players currently at the club to move on in search for some football, if that is the case.

And it looks like that might be the case for Chelsea’s forgotten man, Charly Musonda.

It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!

Doctors gave the 25-year old very little chance of playing again after his big injury, but he has been back working at Cobham and playing in the development squad.

So there is hope that he may soon be playing professionally again, and that opportunity could come in January, the next chance for him to go out and play.

It’s been great to see him back kicking a ball again, and his talent was always clear to see before his career threatening injury. But now it seems like make or break time once again as he will look for a move to re-start his football career.

We have yet to hear of any solid plans for Musonda from Chelsea or from the player himself, but you’d imagine now that he has been playing again we might see something happen in January.

His current Chelsea contract runs out in the summer, so if Chelsea do loan him out in January they would need to extend his deal first. Whether they do that or sell him altogether, or simply just see his contract run down with him playing more games in the development squad until the summer. I do hope the latter isn’t the case, it will be great to see him given one last shot at playing, and one last shot at Chelsea if it went well.

We will see what happens.
