Preseason Postgame Quotes

FC Dallas head coach Nico Estévez

Overall thoughts on tonight’s match…

“I was telling the guys that it was the most perfect match of the preseason. The things we have been working on during preseason, and the things we have been doing in other games have been showing today. There were times we struggled, and there are moments where opponents will chase you and are gonna try to score on you. We are going to learn how to work and stick together to get the three points at home.”

FC Dallas midfielder Paxton Pomykal

Mood in the locker room heading into the regular season…

“We feel good, and the team feels great. It was a good battle today in the last preseason match, and we all got a good amount of fitness. The group is feeling really good and fit, and we are ready to take on Toronto in the home opener.”
