Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Atalanta are going to bid for Tammy Abraham, adding that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and David Moyes’s West Ham United are interested in the Chelsea striker.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Arsenal and West Ham are interested in signing Abraham from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
However, according to Romano, it is Atalanta who are planning to bid for the 23-year-old.
The Serie A outfit have a meeting with Chelsea in the next 48 hours and will make a bid for Abraham if Inter Milan come for Duvan Zapata as Romelu Lukaku’s replacement.
The former Manchester United striker is on his way to Chelsea from Inter.
What should Arsenal and West Ham do?
Atalanta reportedly being ready to bid for Abraham shows that they are very serious about the former Aston Villa loanee.
If Arsenal and West Ham are keen on the 23-year-old, then they need to step up and launch bids of their own.
The Telegraph reported this week that Arsenal are ‘serious’ about signing Abraham.
TalkSPORT have claimed that West Ham want the Chelsea striker.
Now is the time for both the Gunners and the Hammers to make their moves for Abraham, or they could miss out on him.
