Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Ablade Morgan is confident about the Black Stars chances at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations despite suffering a defeat against Morocco in Group C opener.
The four-time African Champions lost their game on Monday after a disappointing performance resulted in a 1-0 defeat against favorites Morocco.
Sofiane Boufal scored the game’s only goal in the 83rd minute as Morocco claim another win over the Black Stars.
Despite the defeat, Ablade Morgan who capped three times for the Black Stars says the team can make impact at the tournament but called on Ghanaians not to pressure the team.
“I believe this Black Stars team can go far in this tournament, but before we can achieve that feet, we need to take it game after game and again limit the pressure we are putting on the team” he told Nkunim FM.
Ghana will take on Gabon in their second Group C game at the AFCON on Friday.
