Former Hearts of Oak attacker Eric Kumi has arrived in Obuasi ahead of an expected move to AshantiGold, according to Asempa FM’s SportsNite show.
The 25-year-old left Hearts of Oak in 2017 following the end of the reign of Frank Nuttall at the capital club.
After enjoying spells in Tunisia with Stade Tunisien and Japanese side Ococias Kyoto, the attacker has returned to Ghana to relaunch his career and he has landed in Obuasi to seal his move to the club.
According to Kumasi-based broadcast journalist Jonathan Asiedu on SportsNite show hosted by renowned broadcaster Enoch Worlanyo, Kumi will sign a 2-year deal with the Miners before the transfer deadline day.
The Ghanaian domestic transfer window shuts on October 9, 2021.
