In a week of footballing comebacks, the Chinese Super League made its own offering in round six of the CSL 2018 season.

Chonqing Lifan were 3-1 up after just 18 minutes at home to Beijing Guoan. However, the away team clawed it back with Cédric Bakambu heading home an equaliser to make it 3-3.

Shanghai Shenhua and Guangzhou Evergrande battled out their own entertaining score draw.

The reigning champions thought they had won it when Gudelj Nemanja scored with an absolute screamer. However, Xu Yougang equalised in the 72nd minute to bring an end to a captivating 2-2 draw.

Shanghai SIPG maintained their 100% record and with it their position at the top of the Chinese Super League thanks to a 2-0 win at home to Hebei CFFC.

Ezequiel Lavezzi missed a first half penalty for Hebei with the score 0-0. Hulk then showed him how it was done to make it 1-0, before Wu Lei sealed the victory.

Despite Nemanja’s effort, goal of the weekend must surely go to Tianjin Quanjian’s Wang Yongpo. The Chinese international volleyed home from the edge of the area with a shot that flew into the top corner.
