UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov has shared pictures of his trip to Old Trafford on Saturday, messing around with close friend Cristiano Ronaldo.

The retired MMA king was in the crowd as United drew 1-1 with Everton, with Ronaldo starting on the bench and Andros Townsend, of all people, doing the famous ‘siuuu’ celebration.

Ronaldo stormed down the tunnel and Khabib was probably a little disappointed too, but the two iconic sportsmen were quick to restore each other’s spirits after the game.

The Russian fighter took to Instagram to share a face off with the Portugal star, while the pair were also pictured play-fighting.

Both Khabib and Ronaldo can claim to be the greatest of all time in their respective sports, although some may argue.

British boxer Tyson Fury is also trying to establish himself in the history books, defending his WBC title against Deontay Wilder this weekend.

He commented on the post with two crown emojis and the message: “Legendary link up.”

Red Devils midfielder Paul Pogba also greeted Khabib, along with former United defender Rio Ferdinand.

It comes after the UFC icon was seen chatting to Sir Alex Ferguson, Patrice Evra and Usain Bolt after the game.

A video emerged of Sir Alex, the legendary United boss, telling Khabib ‘you should always start your best players’ after highlighting Ronaldo started on the bench for the draw.
