Colorado Rapids Roster Update from Preseason Camp in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. – As the Colorado Rapids’ preseason continues this week from Tucson, Arizona, the club is preparing for its first preseason match today, January 29, against Western Conference rivals Sporting Kansas City (4 p.m. MT). The match, which is open to the public, will be played at Kino Sports Complex and streamed live on ColoradoRapids.com/live. The streams will only be available for residents within the Rapids’ local broadcast territory.


In addition to Saturday’s preseason friendly, the Rapids will also face Seattle Sounders FC (Tuesday, Feb. 1) and Houston Dynamo (Saturday, Feb. 5) as part of their preseason preparations in Tucson. Colorado’s roster currently sits at 36 players, including four goalkeepers, 13 defenders, 11 midfielders and eight forwards.

In addition to players currently signed to First Team contracts, the Rapids’ preseason roster includes a number of Rapids Academy players and unsigned SuperDraft picks.
