There is always that fine line as a supporter of a football club, having a right to get frustrated and offer criticism to players, and turning that into trolling and abuse, or damn right just being disrespectful.
I totally get why some Chelsea fans may have some reservations about Timo Werner, I do as well, he misses a lot of chances and I have often voiced my concerns on that. That is normal.

But when you cross the line and say for example, shout at a PA system to Timo himself at an open training session ‘get out the club’, then that makes you an idiot.
Reassuringly, as reported by The Daily Star, most of the other Chelsea fans in the stadium today reacted to boos and shouted back at the idiot, ‘you get out of the club.’
The idiot was being interviewed by Chelsea presenters, and I bet they wish they had chosen a different ‘fan’ to speak to.
The reaction of those that booed the idiot was great to see, and it proves that most fans are sticking with and supporting Werner urging him to come good, and despite my reservations about him personally, I do think he can come good and I am not giving up on him yet.
Even if I was, I wouldn’t be rushing to abuse or troll him that’s for sure. As a fan I always believe we have the right to voice concerns and offer criticisms, but when that becomes an agenda of hate, trolling, and abuse, that makes you an idiot.
It’s encouraging to see the majority of fans standing by Werner, and you even hear his name sung loud at matches. He is starting his second season with us, he has every chance to prove his haters wrong, and let’s hope he does.
