Captain Scott Brown will lead his team out at Celtic Park for the final time against St Johnstone.

Interim boss John Kennedy has named his starting side to face the Perth Saints in the penultimate fixture of the Premierhip season.

As expected, departing skipper Brown starts in midfield in what will be his final home appearance for the club and he will look to sign off with a victory.

But as one chapter in the club’s history ends, young Adam Montgomery will hope another is just beginning.

The 18-year-old forward has been handed his debut in a huge opportunity to impress for next season.

Vasilis Barkas returns between the sticks following injury to Scott Bain in what is an opening for the Greek keeper to get his Celtic career back on track.

Elsewhere, Ryan Christie and David Turnbull start in midfield but there’s no sign of Callum McGregor.

FULL TEAM: Barkas, Kenny, Ajer, Welsh, Brown, Turnbull, Christie, Elyounoussi, Forrest, Edouard, Montgomery

Subs: Hazard, Laxalt, Taylor, Soro, Griffiths, Ralston, Ajeti, Johnston, Dembele
