A MINUTE’S applause is set to be held by Celtic fans in honour of a schoolboy who was allegedly murdered in Glasgow.
Supporters hope to mark the life of Justin McLaughlin during the 14th minute of their Europa League game with Ferencvaros this afternoon.
The teenager, 14, passed away in hospital shortly after being allegedly attacked inside High Street station on Saturday. A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged yesterday in connection with the incident.

Heartfelt tributes for the teenager have poured in from across Glasgow and beyond, with his headteacher at St Ambrose High, in Coatbridge, calling him a “valued member of the community”.
Now fans of his beloved Hoops have called on one another to pay tribute today to the youngster, who played for Baillieston Thistle in Glasgow’s East End.
The Celtic Feed Twitter account tweeted: “Hi everyone, with the sad news breaking today with the teenage boy Justin dying, he was a big Celtic (fan) and it would mean a lot if we could get a minutes applause on the 14th minute at the Ferencvaros game on Tuesday.”
James McParland, who leads St. Ambrose High School in Coatbridge, said on Sunday:
“The community of St Ambrose High School is shocked and saddened by the death of Justin McLaughlin.
