Celtic and Rangers will play Raith Rovers and Livignston respectively in the last eight of the Premier Sports Cup.

Steven Gerrard’s men booked their spot in the quarter-finals with a convincing 5-0 win over Dunfermline on Friday night.

And Ange Postecoglou’s side will join them and seeing off Hearts 3-2 at Parkhead this afternoon, gaining some revenge for their opening day league defeat at Tynecastle.

Both clubs now know who they’ll face in the quarter final of the tournament and both have been handed home ties for the last eight.

Raith Rovers will visit Celtic with the Fife side shocking Aberdeen earlier on Sunday with a 2-1 win after coming back from a goal behind against the Dons.

The Championship side will hope that it can be a sell out at Celtic Park to bring in more money and they’ll hope to cause another shock against Postecoglou’s side.

For Rangers, they’ll host Livingston at Ibrox and they already beat the Lions 3-0 on the opening day of the league season.

The ties will be played on the 22nd and 23rd of September and they could be shown live on Premier Sports.
