Speaking to Cadena SER after Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday night, Carlo Ancelotti revealed that Karim Benzema would miss his side’s Champions League fixture with Inter Milan on Tuesday.
“Karim had problems in the first half and he didn’t want to force it. He won’t be fit for Tuesday, but he could still be fit for Sunday. It was an important victory, but in two days everything can change,” Ancelotti said.
Benzema went off in the 16th minute with a suspected knee problem. Madrid play Inter on Tuesday and cross-city rivals Atlético Madrid in La Liga next Sunday.
