According to RAC1, Spanish midfielder Carles Aleñá is set to join Getafe from Barcelona.
The 23-year-old spent the last six months of the 2020/21 season on loan at Getafe. Journalist Matteo Moretto reports that he will sign a five-year deal, with Getafe paying close to €5 million for his services.
The midfielder, who was not in Ronald Koeman’s plans at Barcelona, was due to finish his contract at Camp Nou in 2022.
Aleñá will travel to Madrid shortly to undergo a medical before completing his move to the Primera club.
