The Eastern Giants convened at Hotel Paradise On The Nile for a financial management workshop on Sunday. This financial literacy covenant had all members and staff of BUL Football Club, including club chairman, Mr. Ronald Barente in attendance.
FUFA Instructor and the Federation’s deputy chief executive officer in charge of football, Decolas Kizza dissected the FUFA Strategic plan and thereafter took partakers through saving as well.
They then explored Human Resource Management with keen guidance from another CAF administration and management instructor, Mr. Samuel Mpiima who also serves as a FUFA Executive Committee member.
Mpiima happily took some time off to appreciate BUL FC for the initiative and efforts undertaken towards financial awareness to its own staff.
He further said, “FUFA has confidence in you because we feel you have stability as an institution.”
Success of any club rests upon a serene relationship within and in line with that, FUFA Director of Football Development, Ali Mwebe was there with an explicit lecture on managerial relationship and conflict management stuff that sometime arises due to money revelation amongst staff.
Team manager Alex Isabirye revealed appreciativeness to the instructors, and participants upon successful completion of the retreat and additionally preached team work as a tool for success.
