BUL Football Club took a step closer to the semi-finals with a 2-0 win over Proline in the quarter finals on Friday.
Winger Vitalis Tabu opened the scoring account when he curled in a fantastic free kick fifteen minutes into the game
Talisman Joseph Semujju doubled the lead for the Eastern Giants ten minutes to the half time break feeding on a well-laid pass from youngster Simon Peter Oketch.
Semujju and Deogracious Ojok were chanced with attempts at goal later in the game but were denied by woodwork as the opposite goal keeper parried out Dennis Okot Oola’s hard shot for a corner.
Coach Alex Isabirye introduced on flesh legs of; Musa Esenu, Owen Mukisa and Thomas Kabaale for Tabu, Oketch and Ojok respectively on the eve of the final half as Godfrey Akol replaced injured Kenneth Semakula, while Semujju paved way for Robert Mukongotya later in the nightfall of the game.
