Brighton & Hove Albion will kick-off the 2021/2022 Barclays FA Women’s Super League season at their traditional home of The Amex Stadium according to reports on the club’s official website.
Hope Powell’s side usually play their home games at The People’s Pension Stadium in Crawley but they will run out at The Amex Stadium next month in a move which will allow a bumper crowd to cheer the team on.
Albion open the new Barclays FA Women’s Super League campaign with a fixture against West Ham United. It has today been confirmed that the game will kick-off at 2pm on Sunday 5 September and will be staged at the club’s £93 million Amex Stadium home.
The club are very much pitching ticket sales for the game at the correct level. No attendee will pay more than £5 to watch the game with that rate being the amount for adult admission while all concessions will be charged £2.50. A family of four will be able to attend the match for just £10.
The club have confirmed that all season ticket holders will be provided with a complimentary ticket to access the stadium.
Brighton & Hove Albion recorded their highest-ever league finish last season with The Seagulls finishing in sixth position in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. Manager Powell hopes to see the club challenge for the top four in the long term.
