That’s all for today, goodbye!

Liverpool’s unbeaten start to the season continues and they go one point clear at the top of the table. Their attention turns to the Champions League now and a trip to Porto on Tuesday. Brentford stay in ninth and they go to West Ham for their next game.

Brentford come from behind twice to earn a 3-3 draw with Liverpool. The first half ended 1-1, with both sides having an effort cleared off the line before Pinnock opened the scoring with a tap-in. Jota cancelled it out with a header before Jones hit the post. Salah scored his 100th Premier League goal for the Reds to give them the lead after the break before Janelt pulled one back on the rebound after Jansson hit the bar. Jones scored a brilliant long-range strike, but Wissa was there for the hosts late on to chip Alisson and earn the point.

90′ + 5′ FULL-TIME: BRENTFORD 3-3 LIVERPOOL.

90′ + 3′ It’s end-to-end at the moment as both sides search for a late winner. There’s a tangle of legs between Toney and Van Dijk, with no free-kick given to the hosts despite Toney’s protests before Liverpool go straight up the other end. Mane drills a low cross into the box, but it’s just out of Firmino’s reach.

90′ + 1′ More shouts for a penalty from Liverpool players and fans after Mane ends up on the floor, but again nothing is given. It would’ve been harsh to give it for a coming together with Ajer, and he’s told to get back to his feet.

89′ Liverpool have a free-kick through the middle, which Alexander-Arnold takes short to Henderson. He clips the ball towards Van Dijk at the far post, but Jansson gets there just ahead of him to flick it away.

87′ OFFSIDE! Baptiste heads the ball back towards the box after Liverpool clear their lines, and Wissa heads it onto Toney. He’s one-on-one with Alisson and keeps his cool as he slots it into the far-bottom corner, but the offside flag goes up and it won’t count.

86′ Brentford have the belief that they can go on and win this game as Mbuemo pulls away from Alexander-Arnold down the left again. He tries to square it back into the middle for Toney, but Van Dijk gets across to intercept it.

84′ There are big shouts from the Liverpool fans and a couple of the players for a penalty after Jota goes to ground in the box. It’s a clumsy one from Zanka, who was trying to get back into position, but nothing is given by the referee.

82′ WISSA SCORES! Canos’ cross is brought down by Wissa, but it hits the back of Alexander-Arnold, who collided with Toney in an aerial challenge. Wissa keeps it alive though, dragging it away from the right-back before he chips it over Alisson and into the back of the net. 3-3!

80′ It’s a lovely pass from Jota to pick out Firmino in the box, but Zanka is quickly across to stop him from getting in on goal. The Brazilian is forced wide and initially does well to keep it in before he runs into Jansson.

Brentford

78′ Final change for Brentford now as Norgaard is taken off and replaced by Wissa.

77′ MISS! Salah times his run perfectly to stay onside, and he’s one-on-one with Raya again. The keeper rushes out to him, so Salah tries to chip him, but he can’t get enough dip on the shot, and it lands on the roof of the net.

76′ Henderson chips the ball over the top of Brentford’s defence to pick out Salah and he lifts a cross into the six-yard box towards Mane. Raya reads it well though and gets in front of him to hold onto it.

74′ Baptiste swings a good cross onto the edge of the box for Mbuemo, and he cushions a header down for Janelt through the middle. He has Van Dijk tight to him though, and he can’t keep hold of it under the pressure.

72′ Henderson peels off the back of Jansson and Mane tries to pick him out with a throughball. The captain controls it well with his first touch, only for the flag to go up for offside.

Liverpool

70′ Robertson’s intercepting touch ends up going straight to Baptiste, and he ends up pulling the substitute back to try and make up for his mistake. He’s shown a yellow card.

Brentford

68′ Brentford are making a change as well as Baptiste comes on to replace Onyeka.

Liverpool

68′ That goal was Jones’ last involvement in the game as his number is shown, and Firmino is on to replace him.

Liverpool

67′ Robertson touches the ball into Jones before continuing his run, and that’s what opens up the space for the midfielder to hit the shot.

Liverpool

67′ JONES SCORES! It looks like there’s absolutely nothing on for the midfielder when it’s touched out to him, but the space opens up for him. There’s a lot of power on it and it takes a deflection off Ajer which just takes it away from Raya and into the back of the net. 3-2 Liverpool!

65′ Liverpool are trying to regain their lead as they push upfield once again and Alexander-Arnold curls another deep cross into the box. Mane keeps it in at the byline before pulling it back for Jota, but he can’t control it.

Brentford

63′ JANELT EQUALISES! There’s a bit of a scramble at the near post before Jansson smashes an effort off the crossbar from close range, but it comes back out to Janelt. He heads it back towards goal and Alexander-Arnold clears it, but it was clearly from behind the line. 2-2!

62′ Alexander-Arnold plays a clever one-two with Salah, which opens up the space for him to cut inside from the wing. He takes it to the edge of the D before hitting a shot, but it’s blocked by Jansson.

60′ Salah has scored 100 goals in 151 Premier League games for Liverpool, reaching 100 top-flight goals in fewer appearances than any other player in the club’s history.

58′ Brentford take another free-kick short, this time to Mbuemo on the right. His cross is half-cleared by Van Dijk, but Toney is judged to have fouled Matip when he jumped for it, much to his frustration.

56′ Brentford look to have an instant impact as Janelt slides it through to Mbuemo on the left of the box again. He does well to keep it in play, but three Liverpool defenders swarm towards him and he can’t do much with it.

Liverpool

54′ Fabinho gets his head up and picks out a perfectly weighted pass over the top to Salah to set up the goal.

Liverpool

54′ SALAH SCORES! It’s a great ball over the top from Fabinho to pick out Salah’s run off the back of Henry, and he lets it drop over his shoulder before hitting the shot first time. It takes a deflection off Raya before nestling into the corner. The flag originally went up, but a quick VAR check shows he was onside. 2-1 Liverpool!

53′ Brentford are being penned back in their own half as Liverpool push forward in search of a second goal. It’s patient play by the visitors as they try to open up the space in behind their opponents.

51′ Pinnock is the 100th different player to net his first-ever Premier League goal against Liverpool; only Everton (142), Tottenham (124) and Aston Villa (102) have seen more players score their first goal in the competition against them.

49′ GOOD SAVE! Robertson clips another good cross into the box and it’s glanced on by Henderson at the near post. It catches Jota out when it hits him, but it’s bouncing in until Raya gets down to push it away.

48′ Brentford have started the second half on the front foot and are keeping Liverpool under some early pressure here. Canos curls a corner into the box which Matip heads to Onyeka, but he swipes at it and it’s an easy clearance for Van Dijk.

46′ Brentford get us back underway for the second half!

Frank will be very pleased with his side’s performance so far, and they’ve created the better chances, causing Liverpool some real problems when they’ve got forward. Liverpool have looked a threat as well though and Klopp will undoubtedly be hoping for them to be a bit more clinical in front of goal.

It’s level at 1-1 at the break between Brentford and Liverpool. Both sides had early chances cleared off the line, with Salah’s effort cleared by Ajer at one end, before Matip kept out Mbuemo at the other. Pinnock then gave the hosts the lead with a tap-in from close range, but four minutes later, Jota headed Liverpool level. Jones also saw an effort bounce off the post before Raya denied Jota on the rebound.

45′ + 3′ HALF-TIME: BRENTFORD 1-1 LIVERPOOL.

45′ + 1′ Alexander-Arnold steps up to take the free-kick just outside the box and he’s going for goal. He curls his shot up and over the wall, but there’s not enough dip on it and it sails over the bar.

Brentford

44′ Robertson takes matters into his own hands and makes an incredible run from deep in his own half towards Brentford’s box. Onyeka takes one for the team by tripping him just outside the area and picks up a yellow card.

Brentford

43′ Pinnock has gone down again and this time, his game is over as he gingerly makes his way off the field and is replaced by Zanka.

41′ Five of Jota’s 12 Premier League goals for Liverpool have been headers after none of his 16 strikes for Wolves in the competition came in this fashion.

39′ OFF THE POST AND SAVED! Jones takes his shot from the edge of the box and it takes a deflection on the way through Pinnock’s legs which help it onto the post. Jota is the first to react and fires an effort back across goal, but Raya throws himself in front of that one to smother it.

38′ Mbuemo gets in behind Matip this time and puts another good cross in from the left. Toney chests it down, but Canos can’t control it and Van Dijk ends up putting it out for a throw-in.

36′ This is the second time Pinnock has gone down holding his hip, but this time, the medical team are on to give him some treatment. He looked to be in quite a bit of pain, but he’s going to try and carry on again.

35′ Alexander-Arnold’s cross is brought down by Mane, but with his back to goal, there’s not much he can do. He touches it into Henderson, who looks like he’s going to hit the shot before squaring it to Robertson, and his cross is blocked by Onyeka.

33′ Mbuemo chips the ball over Van Dijk and the defender doesn’t realise that he has Toney hovering behind him in the box. The forward rushes forward, but Alisson beats him to it and punches it away.

Liverpool

31′ It’s a great cross from Henderson as he just hangs it up nicely for Jota to reach it at the far post.

Liverpool

31′ JOTA EQUALISES! Van Dijk gets Liverpool upfield with his pass into Salah, but Henderson puts the cross in from the right. Ajer can’t reach it and Jota is waiting behind him to guide his header in at the far post and make it 1-1!

29′ Liverpool have a free-kick just inside Brentford’s half which Robertson whips towards Van Dijk at the far post. Pinnock is tight to him though and flicks it out for a corner just ahead of the defender.

Brentford

27′ The assist has been given to Toney for his flick-on at the near post which took it away from the Liverpool defenders in the middle.

Brentford

27′ BRENTFORD LEAD! It’s a brilliant cross from Canos on the right as he pulls it back across the six-yard box. Toney flicks it on and Jansson can’t get the contact he needs, but it runs through to Pinnock at the far post. He gets there ahead of Matip to poke it into the back of the net. 1-0 Brentford!

25′ SAVE! Toney lifts the ball over Matip for Mbuemo, who spins and has a clear run at goal. He cuts inside from the left before drilling his shot, but Alisson gets a strong hand behind it before a very belated offside flag goes up against him.

23′ Pinnock’s clearance is blocked by Salah and Liverpool are quickly on the front foot again. Alexander-Arnold whips another cross into the box, looking for Jota this time, but it’s intercepted by Jansson.

21′ Mane spins away from Onyeka and tries to switch play out to Robertson as he continues his run into the box. He sells him short though as Ajer steps across to intercept it and clear the danger for Brentford.

19′ Mbuemo is in behind Liverpool again and Alexander-Arnold slides in to try and block him. He cuts back inside, but trips over the right-back in the process and can’t pick out a team-mate with his cross when he gets back to his feet.

17′ Brentford lost their last Premier League home game against Brighton and Hove Albion. They’ve not lost consecutive home league games since a run of three in December 2018.

15′ Liverpool are still looking to their right side to make something happen as Fabinho switches it out to Salah. He spots Mane making a run to the far post and tries to curl it in with the outside of his boot, but it’s straight into Raya’s gloves.

13′ Liverpool are trying to push upfield, but Brentford aren’t allowing them a lot of time on the ball with their high press. Alexander-Arnold touches it through to Henderson, who tries to return the one-two, but it’s cut out by Pinnock.

11′ OFF THE LINE! Liverpool are all over the place at the back and Mbuemo is in on goal this time. He chips his effort over Alisson who rushes off his line. Matip looks like he’s going to leave it, but does get back and makes the clearance on the line.

10′ Mbuemo pushes his way into the box and manages to square it towards Onyeka despite pressure from Van Dijk and Robertson. Onyeka hits it first time but curls his effort wide of the near post.

9′ There’s a chance for Toney at the other end as Mbuemo whips a wonderful cross into the near post and the forward glances the header on towards the far post. He doesn’t get his angles right though and it bounces wide.

7′ OFF THE LINE! It’s a great tackle from Jones to win possession back before Jota picks out Salah with a throughball. He’s through on goal and Raya rushes off his line, but the shot is slid under him. It looks a sure goal until Ajer gets back and slides in to clear it off the line.

6′ Ajer stayed down after a clash of heads with Jones when they both tried to get on the end of Henderson’s cross and the medical team are waved onto the field. He’s quickly back to his feet after checks though, and it looks like he’ll be able to carry on.

4′ Liverpool are finding a lot of space down the right in the opening minutes here as Alexander-Arnold slides it through to Henderson. He whips a great cross in towards Jones, but Ajer throws himself bravely in front of it to make a block.

2′ Henry switches play into Toney from the left, but he’s caught on the ball by Jones, and Liverpool have a chance to break quickly. He plays a one-two with Robertson, who puts a great cross into the middle, but nobody’s there to get on the end of it.

1′ Henderson gets the game underway for Liverpool!

The teams are out on the pitch, with kick-off just moments away!

Liverpool have lost just one of their last 27 Premier League games against promoted sides (W22 D4), losing 1-0 to Fulham last season. Meanwhile, the last time they lost their first-ever Premier League meeting against a side was in October 2010 (1-2 v Blackpool).

Jurgen Klopp makes four changes from the win over Crystal Palace last Saturday. Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip and Jones are all brought into the team, with Tsimikas, Milner and Konate dropping to the bench. Thiago Alcantara misses out due to a calf injury.

Thomas Frank makes just one change to the side that beat Wolves in the Premier League last weekend. Onyeka starts in midfield in place of Baptiste, who starts on the bench after serving his suspension in midweek for a red card picked up in that game.

LIVERPOOL SUBS: Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Divock Origi, Caoimhin Kelleher, James Milner, Ibrahima Konate, Takumi Minamino, Konstantinos Tsimikas.

LIVERPOOL STARTING XI (4-3-3): Alisson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson; Curtis Jones, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson; Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane.

BRENTFORD SUBS: Marcus Forss, Mads Bidstrup, Alvaro Fernandez, Shandon Baptiste, Saman Ghoddos, Mads Roerslev Rasmussen, Mathias Jensen, Zanka, Yoane Wissa.

BRENTFORD STARTING XI (3-5-2): David Raya; Kristoffer Ajer, Pontus Jansson, Ethan Pinnock; Sergi Canos, Frank Ogochukwu Onyeka, Christian Norgaard, Vitaly Janet, Rico Henry; Bryan Mbuemo, Ivan Toney.

Liverpool have the chance to go outright top of the league with a result today and are unbeaten across all competitions so far this season, winning six and drawing one of those games. In the Premier League, they’ve won their last two outings by a 3-0 scoreline and kept a clean sheet in all but one of their matches so far. Brentford have lost just once in all competitions so far this season (W4 D2), but have won their last two and come into today on the back of a 7-0 thrashing of Oldham Athletic in the EFL Cup in midweek.

Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Brentford and Liverpool at the Brentford Community Stadium!
