L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Bordeaux have accepted an offer from LaLiga club Celta Vigo for 22-year-old right-back Thomas Carrique.
His departure represents the 1st sale of the Gérard Lopez era – he had 12 months remaining on his existing deal, the size of his transfer fee is currently unknown. The player will sign a 2-year deal with the option to extend for a further third campaign.
He quit the pre-season camp in Pointvy earlier today to travel to Spain.
