Cash-strapped Barcelona have identified Porto and Colombia flyer Luis Diaz as an affordable option to rejuvenate their attack, according to Marca.
Diaz, 24, has produced 30 goals and 14 assists in 105 matches since July 2019’s €7.2m switch from Junior FC. This form has alerted a number of sides to him, notably Everton during last summer’s transfer window.
Barca have, reportedly, become the latest side to join the race. An inviting €30 million fee, plus the wide man’s excellent displays and potential for growth, are key to their interest.
President Joan Laporta is aware other sides will offer larger wages, but is convinced a deal is still possible.
