Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have announced Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as the new head coach of the club.
The former WAFA head coach replaces Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto who mutually terminated his contract with the Porcupine Warriors on Friday.
Dr. Narteh led WAFA to a top-four finish in last season’s campaign.
In mid-August, broadcast journalist Kwabena Owusu Obeng, known by his monikers OB Trice, revealed on Tuesday Dr. Narteh has already spoken to former Black Stars goalkeepers’ trainer Nassam Yakubu to join his team.
Ghana Sports Online understands former Liberty Professionals head coach David Ocloo will join the technical team as the new assistant coach.
