Arsenal & Manchester United eye Nunez

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Darwin Nunez is one of the most desirable strikers in Europe right now, and Benfica have set an asking price of €75m for the hitman.

It is added that there are currently no official offers for Nunez, but many teams are interested, including Manchester United and Arsenal:

The pair’s interest in Nunez does make a lot of sense for both clubs. Arsenal are currently due to lose Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah for free in the summer, and even if the former does extend his stay at the Emirates, the Gunners will still need another striker for support – especially if they get back into Europe.

Manchester United, meanwhile, currently have a 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo and a soon-to-be out-of-contract Edinson Cavani as centre-forward options.
