In-demand Alfredo Morelos has NOT told his nearest and dearest he wants to leave Rangers, according to a report.
Portuguese outlet A Bola caused a stir on Sunday by alleging the Ibrox star had informed his “inner circle” his heart was set on joining Porto.
The Colombian has hit transfer headlines again this summer, with Porto boss Sergio Conceicao on his trail.
But the Daily Record report Morelos’ apparent desire to leave Glasgow has come as news to Rangers.
The 24-year-old is due back at training this week after representing Colombia in the Copa America.
Steven Gerrard’s side continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Sunday.
The manager will be keen to work his star striker into peak fitness over the coming weeks as the new season kicks into gear.
Rangers will return to Premiership action on July 31 as they look to defend their league title.
And domestic action will be quickly followed by Champions League qualifying in August.
Gerrard’s players will discover on Monday which teams they could face in the third qualifying round when the draw is made in Nyon, Switzerland.
