Melbourne City are favoured to reverse the result of last year’s A-league Grand Final against Sydney FC this Sunday afternoon.
TAB has City as $2.40 favourites to go one better than last season where they lost the decider 1-nil to Sydney.
The Sky Blues, who are aiming to become the first side to register a hat-trick of A-league titles, are the value play at $2.90 and punters are jumping aboard the side as they aim to create history.
TAB has seen twice as much money for Sydney FC as Melbourne City since the Grand Final market opened a few days ago.
In the Outright Winner market (which includes extra time and penalties), Melbourne City are $1.75 favs while Sydney FC are $2.05.
Both teams are one-two when the market opened shortly after last year’s Grand Final. Sydney FC were installed $3.50 favourites back in December while City’s odds were $4.50.
