The Waterloo Ducks and the Dragons scowl

Waterloo Ducks – Herakles: 2-2.

The weeks go by and look the same for the Brabançons who continue to stand still and who still only have 4 points in as many games. Moreover, the meeting did not start in the best possible way for Wat, which evolved without Victor Charlet (back pain), and which only cashed after 75 seconds via Charlie Van Damme . The home team dominated in a sterile manner and it was, finally, in the 24th minute that William Ghislain found the net. At the start of the second half, Ignacio Nepote gave the advantage back to Lierrois but Louis Depelsenaire(50th) brought back a smile to the local supporters. Waterloo pushed and made the game but the Herakles held on and did not let go despite the debauchery of energy. Next Sunday, Jean Willems’ men will have to win a visit to the Braxgata to avoid being left behind in the standings by the other favorites.

Racing – Braxgata: 3-3.

The people of Brussels are still unbeaten in this championship but they are clearly frustrated after this second split of the season. Against the Antwerp, they had to fight until the last minutes to get the 3 points. They never managed to take the game in hand in the face of very opportunistic visitors in the conclusion zone. However, it was Achille de Chaffoy who was the first to strike after 13 minutes of play. But the reaction was immediate and Loïck Luypaert equalized from the penalty spot. In the 23rd minute, it was Tobias Biekens who gave the advantage to the Brax who made the big back and who could rely on his goalkeeper, Tobias Walter, in great shape. However, just before the return to the locker room, Tanguy Cosyns allowed the Ucclois to return to the mark. The local pressure was strong after the pose but the former German international goalkeeper showed all his qualities. And in the 55th minute, Loïck Luypaert put a chill in the assistance by scoring the 3rd Antwerp goal on stroke. Racing pushed on and was finally rewarded with only 3 minutes left to play thanks to a powerful sleep from Tanguy Cosyns .

Leuven – Ghent: 2-2.

Pleasant and disputed match at Heverlee between 2 clubs which will certainly have their say in the fight for the playoffs. A close duel, sometimes tense, which began with a first Flandrian goal scored by Guillaume Hellin (9th). Before the break, Pau Quemada finally equalized quite deservedly. The exchanges were more and more manly and in the 43rd minute, Antoine Kina gave the advantage to the Ghent (43rd) from the penalty spot. The Universities did not give up and Pilou Maraite equalized on stroke in the 54th minute. A sharing that generally satisfied both parties at the final whistle.

Antwerp – Daring: 2-1.

The Anvers made one of the good operations of the weekend by winning their first 3 points of the season. Thanks to this success, they left the last place in the ranking that they left to the Herakles. On the initiative from the kick-off, it was finally Pieter van Straaten who showed his partners the procedure to follow on a PC rebound The domination was local but it was Manu Brunet who equalized on stroke before the break ( 31e). The Molenbeekois were then more inspired and more dangerous, but it was Antwerp that emerged in the 68th minute thanks to a penalty from Rory Patterson .

Beerschot – Dragons: 3-2.

Deprived of 2 major pawns, Felix Denayer (dad for the 2nd time) and Florent van Aubel (sick), the reigning Belgian champions were barely there during their visit to Kontich. They put a lot of goodwill into the exchanges but they left all the same with a 2nd defeat in 4 days of competition. However, it was Max Luyten who scored the first goal of the game in the 8th minute. The Dragons were playing well but it was Arthur De Sloover who equalized from the penalty spot (25th). It is, then, Gaëtan Perez who allowed the local team to take the lead on a deviation of which he has the secret. At the 50th minute, Loic Van Dorenkept his team in the game by stopping beautifully a stroke drawn by Arthur De Sloover . Lucas Martinez thought to put the Brasschaat club back on track by equalizing (60th) but less than 120 seconds later, Louis Capelle offered the 3 points to the Bee , and especially his very first success of the season.
