SSBJ Juniors had earlier gone ahead in the fourth minute when Ahmad Ariff Daniel Mohd Shahrein converted a penalty corner as they pushed DBKL hard for much of the opening quarter.
However, DBKL maintained focus all the way through to the third period for Mohammad Syafiq Abdullah to draw level with a 34th minute Penalty Corner.
And with just three minutes left on the clock, Shahmie Irfan Suhaimi found the space to knock in another Penalty Corner for the well-deserved win.
In the meantime, MSSPP-PSHA emerged third in the Boys’ Division Two with a resolute performance to beat PPHT Thunderbolts 2-1.
An early Penalty Corner goal in the fifth minute from Mohammad Azril Haziq Mohd Zafarul Idham set the tone for the rest of the game as MSSPP did not lose sight of the prize.
A Field Goal from Kalvinderjit Singh Harcharanjit would then put MSSPP well on the way with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
And even though PPHT Thunderbolts managed to pull back a Penalty Corner goal from Muhamad Khusyairi Zulkepli in the 51st minute, it could not stage a revival as MSSPP emerged victorious to take third this year.
