Week 3 Start Sit lineup advice

Week 3 Start Sit lineup advice

Who are the best Week 3 Start Sit Fantasy Football options this week? You have questions, and we have answers. That’s why you are here, right? So, let’s get to it!

Quarterbacks

QB Start of the Week

Sam Darnold (Panthers)

Look, I get it. It feels gross, it sounds gross. Hell, I threw up in my own mouth typing his name. But it looks like Darnold was less the problem than being a Jet was. He’s a top 15 QB after 2 weeks and he’s playing the Texans who are basically a clown car on fire right now.

QB Honorable Mentions

Derek Carr (Raiders)

He’s the number 9 QB going into week 3 and has quietly been really good.

Justin Fields (Bears)

It’s his time, we all agree he is better than Andy Dalton, and Defensive Coordinators have nothing to use against him yet.

QB Sit of the Week

Jameis Winston (Saints)

Remember in Week 1 when we looked at Winston and thought that Sean Payton had fixed him? We. Were. Wrong… James Winston is who we thought he was. And not even consistently.

Other QB’s to Sit

Trevor Lawrence (Jaguars)

What reason has anyone given you to play him?

Jared Goff (Lions)

You can fall for it if you want to but, I’m out on him this week. Yes, he is the number 7 QB in Fantasy Points after 2 weeks. He is also facing the Baltimore Ravens this week.

Wide Receivers

WR Start of the Week

Tim Patrick (Broncos)

Teddy 2 Gloves is playing great and I expect Sutton to draw heavier coverage. He also has fewer targets and more Fantasy Points and is the only receiver with a touchdown.

WR Honorable Mentions

Rashard Higgins (Browns)

No Jarvis, possibly No Odell. Someone has to catch passes.

Cooper Kupp (Rams)

He’s Cooper Kupp and Cooper Kupp is good at football.

WR Sit of the Week

Odell Beckham (Browns)

I would rather be a week late on him than a week early. He is yet to play so even if he does I expect rust.

Other WR’s to Sit

Marquez Calloway(Saints)

He is yet to be a factor positively or negatively. He’s just out there running routes and not scoring points.

Quintez Cephus (Lions)

Baltimore’s Defense. Jared Goff as a QB. TJ Hockenson is the true #1 receiver.

Running Backs

RB Start of the Week

Myles Gaskin (Dolphins)

Tua is out and Jacoby Brissett will need to rely on him very heavily.

RB Honorable Mentions

Mike Davis (Falcons)

Cordarrelle Patterson is not a running back.

Tony Pollard (Cowboys)

I feel like McCarthy is trying to limit the wear and tear on Zeke. This may not last all season but for right now, Pollard is a thing.

RB Sit of the Week

Jonathan Taylor (Colts)

The offense is atrocious. Carson Wentz is playing on zero good legs. You have better options given the way the offense is performing.

Other RB’s to Sit

CEH (Chiefs)

Because we are not sure what this offense is for sure but whatever it is, it runs through the air and Mahomes legs.

Jamall Williams (Lions)

He is a real nice guy and people like him, but if they didn’t let him score as a revenge play against the Packers he’s not the guy. It’s clearly Swift or nothing.

Tight Ends

TE Start of the Week

Jesse James (Bears)

Going with my gut here, they seemed to have a connection in the preseason so it makes sense that he will target him in this game too. It’s not like Jimmy Graham or Cole Kmet are that much more clear options.

TE Honorable Mentions

Noah Fant (Broncos)

More like, Noah Fantastic…

Austin Hooper (Browns)

If Odell comes back they are going to try to force the ball making Hooper an afterthought.

TE Sit of the Week

Blake Jarwin (Team)

Both Tight Ends are irrelevant but he is the lower of the 2 Tight Ends on the roster. So you might sit Dalton Schultz too.

Other TE’s to Sit

Jonnu Smith (Patriots)

Hunter Henry…

Logan Thomas (Washington)

Taylor Heinicke does not like throwing the ball to Tight Ends. Simple enough.

Kickers**

** Humans kicking oblong balls is a crap shoot. There are a variety of reasons this can go wrong. Basiclly these

are just the guys I think have the worst chances vs the guys I think have the best chances this week.

K Start of the Week

Younghoe Koo (Team)

K Honorable Mentions

Graham Gano (TEM)

K Sit of the Week

Josh Lambo (Giants)

Other K to Sit

Mason Crosby (Packers)

Defenses

DEF Start of the Week

Arizona Cardinals

Playing Jacksonville. Enough said.

DEF Honorable Mentions

Tampa Bay

The 4th best Defense after 2 weeks. You can not go wrong with that.

DEF Sit of the Week

Carolina Panthers

They seem like a no-brainer but I am looking for them to blow it against a rookie QB that they have no footage of.

Other DEF to Sit

Indianapolis Colts

They are gonna be tired as Fuck because they will be on the field so often because the offense is gonna be rough.
